Wales v Portugal
Anyone else well excited by this? Collins should see himself at the heart of the Welsh defence tonight and Bale against Ronaldo will be an interesting angle to it.

Getting right behind the Welsh for this. Come on CYMRU!!

Only need to look at the teams last night to see how inept Hodgson was.

Should have been our half of the draw and Belgium aside who aren't great themselves, was full of very average teams.

Whoever wins tonight will be rubbing their hands together at the thought of playing Portugal.

France are in the semi final after beating Romania, Albania, Ireland and Iceland, which doesn't bode well for them as they haven't even looked that good and the German's know a thing or two about tournament performances.

That was Portugal's easiest game of the tournament last night.

Wales squad set to do an open top bus parade in Cardiff after their semi final defeat..

Imagine the celebrations if they had actually won the tournament!

overbyyer are you actually blaming us leaving the European union on Wales losing,I've heard it all now,you obviously voted to stay in then.

I know Cornwall is a long way from E13, but I'd have thought sarcasm would have reach you by now.

Exactly, Dancer. Same team, different leagues.

Ronaldo vs Bale....was there anyone who thought Bale would come out on top? Bale is a great player but let's not compare him to Ronaldo.

Players only do that when they are wasting time coming off the pitch.

Has Coleman explained why he had Chester mark Ronaldo at corners instead of Collins? Blunder
Also as Roy Keane pointed out if Williams had just attacked the ball instead of trying to play offside inside the area the second goal could have been prevented.
Collins will be pleased to get back to West Ham and work with some competent defenders.
Not sure I buy this 'great future' for Wales. The quiet Bale is obviously a fine player as is Ramsey but beyond that they are some hard working journeymen. Do they have some great young talent emerging? Not that I am aware of.
Shame that Jack Collisons injuries prevented him being part of this though.

A multi-millionaire referee who does it 'for fun' and shakes hands with two of the subbed Portuguese players as they make their way off the pitch.

Thanks Brexit.

Will we be reading about a gutless, inept and embarrassing performance by Wales in the press against a very mediocre Portugal team

The biggest game of his career so far, and Bale bottled it.
He couldn't even get simple passes right.

It's a shame, as I was looking forward to seeing Collins keeping Payet quiet in the final.

No team should qualify from a group finishing second from bottom, they have to sort this out before the next euros.

I like the way everyone seems to think the Porto's are shite

Look a good side to me - far more than just Ronaldo. Sanchez at 18 is a beast. Nani has his spark and Pepe shown why he is at Madrid

Bosch or the French will have trouble breaking them down
